Oil decided to suspend the import of liquid gas

The coming months will see the completion and opening of the new projects.
BAGHDAD / Obelisk: Oil Ministry confirmed Tuesday that it decided to suspend the import of liquid gas after that enables the national cadres working in the gas sector to increase national production of liquid gas, which covers the local need.
He said ministry spokesman Assem Jihad, in an interview for “obelisk”, that “the oil ministry decided to suspend the import of liquid gas after that enables the national cadres working in the gas sector to increase national production of liquid gas and covering the local need.”
He explained that “it is a great achievement, especially that it comes in light of security and economic challenges as well as stop the Baiji refinery because of the terrorist attacks, which he covered more than half of Iraq’s need of oil derivatives.”
And “that the coming months will see the completion and opening of new projects.”
The Undersecretary of Oil Minister for Gas Hamid Younis opened, Tuesday, granular gas plant next to the Rusafa cylinder capacity of 1200 per hour.
Younis said during the opening ceremony that “this project comes within the Oil Ministry plans to update and develop the gas filling plants and converted from traditional to Alaotmetekih, and according to Iraqi and European standards.”
“The ministry completed in the context of improving the services provided to citizens 7 projects from among the 15 projects in Baghdad and the provinces will be completed during the coming period, including Samawa gas which will be opened next week’s lab.”
