Finance decided to suspend its plans regarding the issuance of international bonds

BAGHDAD / Sky Press, announced the Ministry of Finance, to suspend all international bond issuance plan due to higher revenues.
Fadel said the Prophet, Undersecretary of the Iraqi Ministry of Finance, told Reuters, "The Iraq suspended its plans to issue international bonds because the yield to be paid will be very high."
He gave no further details was not clear if it was possible to revive the plan in the future.
