Kuwait allows for Jordanian exports to Iraq to pass

Turn Jordan for export to Iraq, through Saudi and Kuwaiti territory, after repeated closures of the borders with Iraq, which finally closed its borders with the Jordanian side, since 16 this month, for security reasons.... BAGHDAD / Obelisk: Jordanian official said Monday that the Kuwaiti authorities, began to allow Jordanian trucks loaded with goods to the Iraqi markets pass through its territory, to Iraq. President of the Jordanian Exporters Association Omar Abu scarf and explained that "Jordanian trucks already begun to enter the Kuwaiti territory, and the transfer of goods loaded into Iraqi territory directly, without the need to unload cargo in Kuwaiti trucks as it was before."
He or scarf in remarks told Anatolia that "Jordanian trucks that link to the port Safwan Iraqi south of the country through the Abdali border port, on the Kuwaiti side, the unloading their cargo trucks Iraqi, in trade exchange between Iraq and Kuwait area, to be transported later to their destinations."
He noted, that "the Kuwaiti facilities, will reduce the export of Jordanian goods to Iraq costs, through the Kuwaiti territories, including at least a thousand dollars per truck, as well as shorten the time that it takes after these facilities from 7 to 10 days."

Jordan's exports fell to Iraq by 25% during the first five months of this year, because of the security risks and the frequent closure of the border between the two countries.
