Follow-up (where) - Washington welcomed the passage of the Iraqi Council of
Representatives and paper political reforms made by the Council of Ministers headed by Haider al-Abadi.
, said Assistant US State Department spokesman Mark Toner in a press briefing Tuesday, "We applaud this courageous step and cohesion shown by all political forces in Iraq approval by paper political reforms. "
He stressed that the United States will support the efforts of the Government Abadi, in order to strengthen the role of state institutions and the restoration of security and stability in all Iraqi provinces, stressing that this step will enhance efforts to undertake comprehensive reforms and the provision of basic services as best as Iraqi citizens.
The House of Representatives has approved Tuesday unanimously by the members present 289 member's paper on the government and the parliamentary political reforms and decided to cancel the posts of Vice President and the Prime Minister and open the files of corruption and rationalize spending in response to the directives of the Supreme religious authority and the demands of the demonstrators.
