Committee for Women and Family maintains a panel discussion on the draft Law on Protection from Domestic Violence

Established the Committee on Women, Family and Children panel discussion on Sunday, 08.16.2015 on the draft law on protection from domestic violence, the presence of representatives from the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq and the International Organization Alatqaz and the State Council and civil society organizations concerned with women and children and human rights. MP opened the session Rehab Alabboudh Chairperson of the Committee stressed the word of the importance of the legislation law of Iraqi society and the family to maintain cohesion and interdependence away from the cases of violence against members of the family in general. She MP Alabboudh that the session dedicated to the maturing of the bill and Alastonas the views and thoughts of legal experts and civil society organizations and international organizations in order to activate and to achieve the desired goal of the legislation, asserting that the Commission is striving to hold seminars and sessions dialogue and the establishment of Alastdavat within the Commission to take the views of specialists and civil society organizations and organizations International in existing laws to the Commission. And presented during the panel discussion included a number of research observations and proposals on the draft law and of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq and the International Rescue Organization and representatives of the Supreme Judicial Council and civil society organizations
