Parliament calls for energy and oil minister of the Kurdistan

BAGHDAD / Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network (IMN) - Commission on oil and energy parliamentary member Zaher al-Abadi said, that the Commission was invited to the Minister of Oil and Natural Resources in the Kurdistan region drastically to come to the House of Representatives in Baghdad and answer the Committee's questions.
And the Kurdistan Regional Government decided, last June, the sale of oil independently of the federal government in protest at what it says is Baghdad's commitment not to pay money arising Bzmtha according to the oil agreement signed between the two parties.
He said al-Abadi's (IMN), that "the energy committee and invited to the Minister of oil and natural resources in the region to come to the capital Baghdad and the meeting with the Commission on oil and energy to know the quantities sold by the province's oil and get to know a lot of other special production and sale of oil issues."
He explained that "in the event of the Kurdish minister refused to come to Baghdad and to provide answers to the Commission on oil and energy, we will have a position announce in front of the media," he said, adding that "the Kurdish minister did not respond previously to questions sent to him by the Commission on oil and energy parliamentary."
Under the oil agreement voted by the Council of Ministers, on the delivery of the Kurdistan region of at least 250 thousand barrels of oil a day to the federal government for the purpose of export, after reaching the Kurdish delegation headed by Nechirvan Barzani with the Iraqi government an agreement on the region's share in the budget and export of oil, where the region's share in the budget will be 17%.
