Kurdish parties out three options to end the crisis over the presidency of the region

" Hussein added, that "the options include, choosing the head of the Kurdistan region through a referendum, or the selection of the President of the Kurdistan region through parliament, provided obtaining 3/4 of the votes of parliamentarians, or by obtaining the 50% +1 of the votes of the parliament." He pointed Hussein, that in the case of "the failure of the political parties for a political consensus on the options then have to hold early general elections." The Chairman of the Presidium of the Kurdistan region, that "the next meeting will be held next Sunday," pointing out that "the committees participating in the meeting asked to postpone the meeting until next week to consult with the leaders of their parties to consider the options, and to hold bilateral meetings and three between them."
