President of the Republic to ratify the political parties law

announced the Presidency of the Republic, on Thursday, for infallible Fouad approval of the law on political parties, as pointed out that it will be implemented 60 days after publication in the Official Gazette.He said the presidential spokesman Khaled Huani in a statement seen by Agency / information / "The law includes new principles in the establishment of political parties notably the establishment parties circle that attached to the Council of Commissioners of the Independent Electoral Commission of the judiciary and the competent jurisdiction to decide all matters relating to the affairs of political parties and organizations," noting that "Fuad Masum, endorsed the political parties law based on the provisions of Article 73 of the Iraqi constitution. "He added that" the law adopt transparent criteria in the sources of party financing and the founding of the party must be on the basis of citizenship, "explaining that the law will be implemented 60 days after the date of its publication in the Official Gazette". Huani and continued that "the President of the Republic already presented a bill that parties have the House of Representatives adopted nearly 80% of the project, "noting that" the law will organize the establishment parties and the organization of partisan activities in line with the constitutional developments and democracy taking place in Iraq."Referred to the House of Representatives voted earlier strengthened majority of its members on the draft law political parties.
