Iraq Mission US HE Iraqi Foreign Minister meets with Yemeni Foreign Minister

He met with Dr. Ibrahim al-Jaafari, the Iraqi Foreign Minister Mr. Riad Yassin Yemen's Foreign Minister, on the sidelines of meetings of the General Assembly of the United Nations in New York for the session (70), and discussed the two ministers of the Iraqi-Yemeni relations, and the importance of upgrading them to serve the two brotherly peoples, also addressed the meeting, the security situation in the two countries and the Arab region.
The Minister reiterated the importance of a dialogue between the parties to the Yemeni conflict, saying that what is happening in Yemen Yemen-Yemeni issue can be reached understandings contribute to establish security and stability in the country, pointing out that Iraq's position on what is happening in Yemen stems from the Constitution, which emphasizes on non-interference in the internal affairs of States, expressed the readiness of Iraq to contribute to resolving the crisis in Yemen if so requested.
For his part, Yemen's Foreign Minister on his country's keenness to deepen relations between the two countries, and stabilization service for the two brotherly peoples. The meeting was attended and his accompanying Ambassador Ali Mohammed al-Hakim, Iraq's permanent representative to the United Nations delegation.
