International Atomic Energy Agency confirms its efforts to set up training workshops for Iraqi specialists

He stressed Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari, Wednesday, on the need to do everything they would support the vital role played by the International Atomic Energy Agency in limiting the spread of nuclear weapons, as he emphasized the IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano quest Agency to set up training workshops for Iraqi specialists in this regard.
The Foreign Ministry said in a statement received by the agency news of the day copy of it, "Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari met with Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Yukiya Amano, During the meeting, they reviewed the work of the organization during the past period and the activities to be set up in the framework of the development work of the Organization."
The al-Jaafari, according to the statement, to "fulfill Iraq related to the International Atomic Energy Agency international commitments," stressing "the need to continue to work and to do everything that would support the vital role of the IAEA in limiting the spread of nuclear weapons and to benefit from nuclear energy for peaceful purposes ".
For his part, Amano noted, "the agency sought to establish training workshops for Iraqi specialists in this regard out of Iraq in order to promote cooperation between Iraq and the International Atomic Energy Agency."
Amano and face "of Iraq's invitation to attend to be held by the Agency in Vienna Summit at the ministerial level in 2016".
And Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari, arrived Wednesday (23 September 2015) to New York to attend the session of the 70th General Assembly of the United Nations Security Council meeting, as well as to meet with a number of Arab foreign ministers and foreign to discuss bilateral relations.
