Maliki rejects the return of any foreign troops to Iraq and warns of compromising national sovereignty

BAGHDAD / Sky Press: Former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki's refusal, the return of any foreign forces to the Iraqi land under the pretext of freeing cities from the control of "Daash," warning of the Iraqi compromising national sovereignty.
Maliki said in a press statement, "We reject the entry of foreign troops or return of US troops to Iraq under the pretext of participating in the liberation of the cities controlled by gangs Daash terrorist operations", stressing that "this is unacceptable and acceptable to the Iraqis."
"We welcome the cooperation with any party without a breach of the sovereignty of Iraq", adding that "the popular crowd and the Iraqi army capable of freeing the country from the territory usurped Daash terrorist gangs".
"We reject the accusation as the popular crowd Volunteers of sectarianism and terrorism." To that Maliki said that "the National Guard, as the current law and the existing conditions can promise legally sectarian and opens the door to big problems and foreign interventions."
The number of deputies from the Anbar province earlier demanded the involvement of US troops land in military operations against terrorist Daash gangs in the province.
