Minister of Water Resources: COPD unequivocal Shatt al-Arab must be a government priority

The Minister of Water Resources Mohsen al-Shammari, Monday, on the need to show Aoloulih government's introduction of cutting the embankment to be established on the Shatt al-Arab to support the ministry's efforts.
Al-Shammari said office statement received by the agency / information / copy of it, "unequivocal dam project to be established on the Shatt al-Arab is of great importance being and contributes significantly to address salinity and health problems plaguing the country."
He added that "The ministry as the competent authority discussed the proposed sites for the creation of this project and it is ready to start its implementation," noting that "the ministry is cooperating with the local government in the province of Basra to create all the possibilities and put the approximate cost of this project."
The province of Basra suffers from health problems and salinity since more than three decades of this project is to address the problems, especially in the province of Basra, Iraq Amoma.anthy / 25 R.
