He added that "the ministry as the competent authority discussed the proposed sites for the establishment of this project and is ready to start its implementation," noting that "the ministry is cooperating with the local government in the province of Basra to create all possibilities and put the approximate cost of this project."
The statement continued that "Basra province suffer from health and salinity problems for more than three decades, this project is to address the problems, especially in Basra, Iraq generally conservative."
