Iraq: we are not allowed to reject potential allies

Twilight News / Iraqi ambassador in Washington, Lukman Faili called on the US administration to increase its support for Baghdad in its war against al Daash, and confirmed a Russian welcome any efforts in this regard.
On the welcome Baghdad any Russian assistance in the fight Daash, Faili said, in a speech to the annual conference of the National Council on American-Arab Relations in Washington, said Iraq is facing the most serious cross-organizations of the border armed and funded, and that this situation forces them to avoid "half-measures" and the loss of "potential allies ".
He stressed that the Iraqi government would welcome any assistance to be complementary to the efforts in the fight against the armed organization and not block it.
Moscow has confirmed its willingness to study the implementation of regulation in the raids on Iraq if Baghdad requested to do so formally.
In a statement quoted by the radio station "Radio Sawa", former US General Mark Kimmitt said that liberalization of the areas controlled by Daash in Iraq rests with the Iraqis, and not on any third party, including the United States, which provides military and logistical support and intelligence to Baghdad.
He expected Russia to expand the role of intelligence in Syria, saying that the intervention will be positive in case of coordination with the United States, and demonstrated that the results "positive" for coordination between the two countries in Bosnia and Kosovo.
He believed that the Russian intervention could force Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to sit at the negotiating table to resolve the crisis through dialogue.
