Baghdad Investment Authority announced on Monday, the direct construction of 1200 housing units west of Baghdad, at a total cost of $ 233 million, while confirming that the project is divided into three models.
The head of the Shaker Zamili in an interview with the (long-Presse), said that "the Commission and within its plan of 2016 laid the foundations in order to meet the needs of the citizen-Baghdadi of housing in a move aimed at contributing to the reduction of the housing crisis," adding that "the dove good company Iraqi recently it embarked on the implementation of an investment project to build a full-service residential complex in the neighborhood of Justice area, west of Baghdad, by 1200 housing units with a total cost of $ 233 million. "
Zamili and added that "it is anticipated that the project will last for four years," he said, adding that "this project is an integrated services in accordance with the modern style and international origins and includes commercial, impossible, and a medical clinic and a primary school and a kindergarten, a mosque and a socially and parking spaces Khadr."
The Chairman of the Commission that "the project is divided into three models, the first model of residential units (A) will be on an area of 174 m 2 per unit consists of three rooms and other services will be in this kind of 300 housing units," pointing out that "the second model carries the symbol (B) will be an area of 112 m2 and consists of three rooms and other services and the number of housing units of this model will be 400 units.
Zamili and that "the third model of residential units and carries the symbol (C) and will be on an area of 54 m2 consists of three rooms with other services, while the number of units of this kind would amount to 500 units."
It is noteworthy that Iraq is suffering a severe housing crisis due to the growing population, relative to the number of residential complexes, in addition to the inability of citizens with limited income from the construction of its own housing units, because of the high cost of land and construction materials.
And it occupies the proportion of families living below the poverty line 23% of the total population of the province of Baghdad, and live in different areas lack vital services and mission according to statistics prepared by the Ministry of Planning previously.
