Allawi, the United Nations and the Islamic Cooperation called for increased support for the displaced

BAGHDAD / .. student president of the National Coalition, Iyad Allawi, on Thursday, the United Nations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation increase support for displaced Iraqis during the winter.
A statement from Allawi's office received "eye Iraq News", "Allawi sent a letter to both the United Nations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation called on them to increase the support provided by the two organizations for the displaced inside Iraq during the winter."
Allawi said according to the statement, that "the continued presence of more than three and a half million displaced Iraqis inside, (due to the repercussions of the war on terror) and the deterioration of the security reality, is the most dangerous challenge facing Iraq, and that the magnitude of the suffering resulting from this very large indeed."
It also looked forward to "an international wider participation" through these two functions of the two organizations "humanitarian contribution in reducing the burden of suffering that languish beneath these millions of Iraqi civilians, mostly women and children, the elderly and the sick," its call for the two organizations "to work on a broader level to bring back displaced people to their homes and the reconstruction of their areas and provide basic services to them, ".anthy / 8
