Parliament Speaker: amend the laws must be in accordance with the Constitution and is guaranteed not to alienate the Iraqi competencies

He said Imad al-Khafaji, a spokesman for House Speaker Mr President of the Council supports the process of reforms in the legislative and executive branches, and calls for steps to raise the standard of living of the poorest segments of the Iraqi people through the laws provided by the executive branch and approved by the House of Representatives.
He said al-Khafaji, in a press statement that the President of the Council is committed to the Constitution and confirms always that the task of Parliament is to make laws and abide by with the rest of the authorities in Iraq, and that any amendment to those laws must be in accordance with the Constitution and is guaranteed not to alienate the Iraqi competencies or enrich the social group at the expense of other and contribute to the redress of the Iraqi people and the fight against corruption and waste of public money that affects the body of the Iraqi state.
