Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Economic Commission Harith al-Harthy, Tuesday, that his committee waiting for government amendments on the ladder of the new salary law, noting that the law vague in many of its paragraphs.
He said Al-Harthy for "Sky Press," "We are waiting for government amendments, which took place on the ladder of the new salary law and then later determine if there was unfairly against employees of the government or not," stressing that "vague law in a number of paragraphs."
He added that "Iraq is suffering in general from a major financial crisis as a result of lower oil prices and other reasons that led to this crisis."
He noted that "A good to give up any employee regardless of the office for part of his salary for a temporary and equal salaries among employees, if that will hurt the interests of Iraq and Iraqis."
It is said that the Council of Ministers, issued on Monday, the decision to wait to apply the new salary ladder after a protest university professors and some staff it.
