Decisions of the Cabinet meeting headed by al-Abadi

Shafaq News / The Iraqi Council of Ministers has held its 42 regular session on Tuesday chaired by Prime Minister , Haider al-Abadi.
According to a statement issued by the Press Office of Abadi on the decisions of the meeting, the Council hosted the Mayor of Baghdad Municipality , Dr. Thikra Alwash to discuss the crisis of rain that caused cases of sinking in parts of Baghdad as the council heard a detailed presentation on the work of the Municipality of Baghdad and its measures to the rains.
The statement added that the council renewed its support to provide all available possibilities to accomplish specific lines of rain strategic projects and problems in the drainage network, the Council also discussed government efforts to address the displaced people who have been affected as a result of rain problems.
The statement indicated that all retired workers will received a grant of a monthly amount (100,000) one hundred thousand dinars from the date of 01.10.2015, and until the issuance of the retirement law and social security for workers in the Official Newspaper considering the availability of financial capabilities of the Department of retirement and social security for workers and the fact that they represent categories that deserve it based on the provisions of Article 30 of the Constitution.
