Ahmed al-Badri said that "the provincial non-oil producing not mentioned in the 2016 budget as approved Constitution provided that oil belongs to all the people," noting that it "has in mind oil-producing provinces and the allocation of entitlements for it."
"The austerity policy in the financial budget for this year applied to the central and southern governorates and did not apply to the Kurdistan region," explaining that "There must be justice in the budget and the distribution of wealth and apply austerity for everyone and not a province without the other."
Badri said that "the oil-producing provinces are not happy with this budget," noting that "the amounts specified for the provinces are very few and must be taken into account along with the deterioration of services and health status for it."
