Abadi is to wait to apply sales tax on the southern ports during the next two days

Chairman of the Basra Governorate Council Albzona morning reported that Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi promised to issue an order to wait to apply sales tax on the southern ports or that are applied to all ports.
He said Albzona in a special statement to Mrbd of Baghdad after meeting with al-Abadi, the latter will be issued a decision to wait to work the sales tax tomorrow or the next two days, noting that al-Abadi promised to be reconsidered in this law, but that is applied to all Iraqi ports or that is shut down work in the southern ports until they find a suitable solution that would satisfy all parties.
He continued to explain that he Albzona Ebadi, the size of the damage to the ports of Basra because of the 15% sales tax in addition to the import license imposed on traders and importers application.
He pointed out that al-Abadi made contact directly with Customs some ports in Basra to release the money that was collected by the tax application size and after application noted over the term difference and its impact is not on the southern ports revenues, but also on state revenues, which made Abadi convinced to reconsider the sales tax and the need to wait to apply the words of Albzona.
