President of a coalition of state law, confirmed Nuri al-Maliki, Sunday, the Italian ambassador on the necessity of activating cooperation in all fields.
A statement by his office received / scales News / copy of it, that "al-Maliki received in his office today, Ambassador of the Republic of Italy to the Iraq Marco Carnelos">
Maliki reiterated during the meeting, according to the statement, "the importance of enhancing bilateral relations between the two friendly countries," stressing "the necessity of activating cooperation in all economic, cultural and academic fields."
He praised the "Italy's role in supporting Iraq in its war against terrorism by participating in the training of military and police forces," noting that "the responsibility of the countries of the world unite their efforts in the fight against extremism and terrorism, because terrorism has no country or religion."
For his part, the Italian Ambassador, "his country's readiness to provide assistance in various particular economic and security fields," ./ ended 29 n / 10
