Iraqi foreign minister arrives in Tokyo

Twilight News / Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari arrived on Monday to the Japanese capital Tokyo on an official visit lasting several days.
According to a statement issued by al-Jaafari's office said that this visit is to meet with Japanese officials, and activate - Japanese Iraqi Joint Committee, and stimulate cooperation between Baghdad and Tokyo.
The statement added that he hoped to meet with al-Jaafari Japanese counterpart, Fumio Kishida, and chairman of the Japan International Cooperation Agency, and the Head of the Foreign Trade Organization, the Committee on Parliamentary Iraqi-Japanese friendship, and a number of officials in the context of strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
