Foreign Minister arrives in Tokyo to activate the Iraqi - Japanese

Baghdad - INA / arrived foreign minister, Ibrahim al-Jaafari, on Monday to the Japanese capital Tokyo on an official visit lasting several days.
Said a statement from Jaafari's office, and received "official Iraqi News Agency," a copy of it, that "this visit is to meet with Japanese officials, and activate - Japanese Iraqi Joint Committee, and stimulate cooperation between Baghdad and Tokyo."
The statement added that "it is hoped that al-Jaafari meets Japanese counterpart, Fumio Kishida, and chairman of the Japan International Cooperation Agency, and the Head of the Foreign Trade Organization, the Committee on Parliamentary Iraqi-Japanese friendship, and a number of officials in the context of strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries
