The ministry spokesman said that "the Minister of Labor directed the follow-up funds that were suspended at the Rashid Bank and filed a lawsuit against him demanding that money deposited in it since 2008 as a dedicated social protection network has not been invested, and the bank has stopped and transferred to the Ministry of Finance as revenue to the Treasury State" .
He added that "this money belongs to the beneficiaries of the social protection network and is confirmed by statements that indicate that the bank refrained from returning, despite the official books and communications required by him, prompting the ministry to file a lawsuit against the bank to return to the protection network."
Munem said that the efforts of the ministry to win the lawsuit and recover all the money that was suspended at the Rashid Bank and load the delayed benefits because the money belongs to the weak segments of the society granted as social benefits to help them overcome the plight of poverty.
He explained that the minister instructed the honoring of the two employees in the law of the Social Protection Authority, Abdul Amir Shati Aziz and Mohammed Saadi Fadel for their keenness and dedication in the performance of their duties and the maintenance of the money of the poor beneficiaries of the salaries of social protection.
