Ruling on imprisoning the director of a government bank and forcing it to pay 760 million dinars

On Sunday, the Criminal Court of Maysan issued a judgment against the director of Al-Rasheed Bank of the University of Maysan, serving a one-year sentence in accordance with Article 340 of the Penal Code.
"The court ordered the convict to pay 760 million dinars on the basis of Resolution 120 of 1994 and decided not to release her unless the amount was paid to the bank in which she was serving as director," a statement by the Integrity Commission received.
The statement added that "the decision of the sentence of conviction was based on the provisions of article (182 / a) Fundamentalist ruling and a recognizable and capable of discrimination."
It should be noted that Article 340 of the Penal Code provided for imprisonment for a term not exceeding seven years or imprisonment for every employee or public service officer who intentionally caused damage to the money or interests of the entity in which he works or is related by virtue of his employment or the funds of the persons entrusted to him .
