"I would have accepted that your name and signature be embossed with gold, but I would accept to put your picture on the coin, to make the dinar equal to the dollar," Karbouli said in a twitter comment on his Twitter site.
"Who is responsible for the constant bleeding of the hard currency and selling it by auction?" Karbouli asked in his tirade.
Karbouli added, "Who opened the wholesale banks in a way that does not fit the reality of Iraq's economic exhaustion, who flooded Iraq consumer goods and the disruption of the industrial and agricultural development of the country?" In reference to 3 damage to the Iraqi economy because of the policies of the Central Bank era of relations.
"If you can not fix the economic reality of Iraq, Iraqis will not remember your name even if it is carved on the rock," Karbouli concluded.
The Central Bank of Iraq issued on Sunday, 7/10/2018, its second edition of the banknotes of the categories (25,000, 10000, 1000, 500, 250) dinars, which included the signature of Governor Ali Mohsen Ismail Alalak in his full name as the governor of the bank.
According to the bank's statement in a statement received by Baghdad today, "for the categories (25,000, 10,000, 500, 250) dinars, the writing of the name of the governor instead of signing it in the old version, in line with what is now followed in other countries, Amend the Hijri and Gregorian dates to the two dates (1440 H-2018 AD)".
