Met with Defense Minister Saadoun al-Dulaimi, and agency in the ministry building a spokesperson on behalf of U.S. forces in Iraq, Jeffrey Buchanan and discussed with him the mechanics of the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq.
Dulaimi said that security forces are ready to manage the security file and receive from U.S. forces, which confirmed that it continues its withdrawal from Iraq, according to the withdrawal of forces agreement signed between Iraq and the United States.
For his part, said U.S. military spokesman Jeffrey Buchanan said his country was committed to the dates of withdrawal and it has a lot of coordination with the Iraqi government to complete a full withdrawal, the end of this year, noting that a great opportunity for Iraq to rely on self-defense capabilities.

For his part, media adviser to the Ministry of Defence, Major General Mohammed al-Askari said Iraqi forces have received many of the bases vacated by U.S. forces recently, pointing out that the withdrawal will be completed on schedule.
