Washington renewed its warnings to Tehran of meddling in Iraq, saying it will stick to protect the security of this country and its sovereignty after the expected withdrawal of the current year, with plans to the Iraqi parliament to vote on the draft resolution submitted by the Sadr bloc to prevent the survival of any U.S. troops after the withdrawal, in conjunction with the assurances that Iraqi security capability of Iraq to protect its airspace after the withdrawal.

He emphasized that "the security services were able to eliminate 95 percent of terrorism and the remaining five percent under control."
Parliament plans to host Maliki, after his return from Japan to see the reality of the development and capabilities of Iraqi forces after the U.S. withdrawal to be the end of the year, especially in light of non-possession of the country for any air force or system radars and air defense capable of protecting the climate of the country and prevent the infiltration of militants to it, and postponed the parliament to vote on decision on the U.S. withdrawal was scheduled to take today, until after the host-Maliki.
The Ministry of the Interior, the withdrawal of U.S. troops will not affect their work in maintaining security. Said Deputy Interior Minister for Security Affairs Ahmed al-Khafaji, "The U.S. forces have no presence or an impact on keeping the Iraqi border for years," and stressed that "the leadership of the border forces are responsible for keeping the border and the presence of Americans is limited to some advisers at headquarters only."
