Baghdad / NINA /- Economist Raad Twig said: "The acceleration of the entry of American and French companies, and the continuous visits to Iraq, is evidence of its political and security stability, and has opened its doors to the best options for developing its resources."
Twig said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA): "The visit of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi to Washington and the conclusion of economic agreements with large companies, and in return, the visit of the French President to Iraq and his desire for economic cooperation, confirm positive developments on the Iraqi economy, which lacks capital and technology, and try to get up again.”
He explained: "Attracting Western, American and French companies to invest, aiming at pumping more capital into the Iraqi economy, whether in the fields of electricity, oil and petrochemicals and the guarantee may be the economic entanglement in the world and the attempt of global economic centers to find a foothold in the Iraqi economy."
The economic expert continued: "Iraq is an arena that is almost a meeting place for all types of economic cooperation for regional and international parties, since the Iraqi economy is the freest economy in the world in terms of capital entry and exit, thus we notice the hot movement of international capital towards Iraq." / End
