{Baghdad} Euphrates News bloc called the white of the Arab League to intervene in order to remove Iraq from Chapter VII imposed since the early nineties of the last century.
The spokeswoman said the bloc high Nassif said in a statement received by the Euphrates News} {a copy of it on Wednesday that "the Arab League, which is known by its initiatives in the interest of Kuwait during the past years, today called upon to intervene with Kuwait to remove Iraq from Chapter VII."
She said that "the Iraqi people no longer remember any role of the Arab League to help Iraq in any of the fields, and this is what makes us wonder about the extent of fulfilling its obligations to the League of Arab Iraq and deal with it the same way as the rest of the Arab countries."
Nassif explained that "we must seek to clarify the position of the Arab League of the survival of Iraq under Chapter VII of the claim by Kuwait officially approached in this regard, and in case of evasion of the university this commitment we will be able to read things more clearly."
The UN Security Council imposed after Iraq's invasion of Kuwait in August 1990 sanctions under Chapter VII includes 13 articles according to its resolution No. 678 issued in 1990 to expel Iraq from Kuwait by force.
Iraq is still under Chapter VII as a result of an objection to him out of Kuwait because of the pending issues between the two sides of the border demarcation between them and the remains of Kuwaiti prisoners and missing persons in Iraq and Kuwaiti property, including the archives of the Amiri Diwan and the Diwan of the Crown Prince.
And the UN Security Council late in 2010 to keep the immunity to Iraqi funds and extension of the deposit of Iraqi oil revenues into the Development Fund of Iraq to the United Nations to the end of this year, which is a continuation of the policy of imposing sanctions on Iraq under Chapter VII. Finished. M
