Minister of Construction and Housing Mohammed Darraji that "the beginning of next January 2012, citizens will see the direct lending loans Housing Fund of the Ministry under the new law which was passed by the House of Representatives recently.
Daraji said in a press statement received by all of Iraq [where] a copy of "The cadres working in the Fund has completed all preparations to start promoting the transactions of the citizens who wish to obtain a loan Housing Fund in Baghdad and the provinces, stressing that part of the preparations to open an account in five new branches of the Rafidain Bank in five provinces, including [Basra, Babil, Kirkuk and Wasit, Maysan] in addition to opening a new branch of the Rafidain Bank in a building in Baghdad Housing Fund through which all provide loans to citizens and which will cover all the governorates of the country. "
He added that he "has been allocated a four-storey building in the province of Nineveh used as a branch of the Housing Fund of the province to promote the transactions of the citizens, noting that there is coordination with all the conservatives in order to open branches of the Fund in their provinces."
