Houllier: the democratic and national agreement on the exchange of positions
Hawler daily newspaper said in a news item published its front page that the Democratic Party to resolve its position in the receipt of the post of prime minister of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) for the remaining two years of life of the government. The newspaper quoted a spokesman for the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party Jaafar Ibrahim said there is a clear understanding between his party and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) regarding the exchange of positions in government and parliament. He added that the new prime minister is will determine if the new government will be formed on the basis of national consensus government or not.
Khabat: Support U.S. Consul to security in the region
newspaper Khabat daily said the U.S. Consul in Erbil Alex Azakraaz expressed concern over recent events in the city of Zakho after visiting the judiciary last Wednesday and met with several officials, the newspaper said U.S. Consul held a meeting with the media, which he denounced acts of violence and express to all his country's support for continued efforts to preserve the freedoms and coexistence between the different components.
Kordstani nuclei: a bill of rights of the child
indicated he intends to Kordestani newspaper that the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs in the provincial government has prepared a draft law on the rights of the child. The newspaper added that the ministry was held last Wednesday, a meeting attended by representatives of organizations concerned with children and members of parliament, academics and religious scholars, jurists, under the supervision of UNICEF to put the wording of the draft and said Secretary of Labor in the meeting that the ministry will work to include the law the largest number of rights and work through other programs to improve the situation of children in the Kurdistan region.
