BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: White Bloc MP Hassan al-Alawi said today thatIraqiya bloc withdrawal will not be for long, expecting its return followingthis vacation.
Alawi told Aswat al-Iraqthat "many damages shall be inflicted on the political process",predicting its return after the present vacation which "it is anopportunity to solve differences among the political entities and reachpositive results".
Iraqiya bloc, headed byIyad Alawi, suspended its participation in Iraqi parliament deliberations,calling Premier Nouri al-Maliki to change his methods in administering thestate.
Relations between Alawiand Maliki were deteriorating since the last elections, particularly on thenominations of the security ministerial posts and the agreements signed amongall political entities
