KERBELA / Aswat al-Iraq: White Bloc MP disclosed that there are mediation efforts between the State of Law, headed by Premier Nouri al-Maliki and Iraqiya bloc, headed by Dr.
Iyad Alawi, pointing the necessity to overpass this crisis.

MP Mohammed al-Da'mi told Aswat al-Iraq that Thursday Baghdad explosions were the results of political conflicts.

"We have efforts between the two blocs to get Iraq out of the bottle neck", he added.

He did not clarify the efforts to be made by his block.

Baghdad witnessed a number of continued explosions that led to 70 killings and 180 wounded, mostly of the civilians, at a time the country is having a political crisis following the criminal charges against vice-president Tariq al-Hashimi, and withdrawing confidence from deputy premier Saleh al-Mutlaq of the Iraqiya bloc.
