Biden seeks to resolve the crisis in Iraq by Barzani and Maliki

Khandan - The White House on Sunday, 25/12/2011 The U.S. Vice President Joe Biden telephoned each of the Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and President of Kurdistan region Masoud Barzani and discussed with them the political climate in Iraq.
The White House expressed regret about the recent bombings which affected the capital Baghdad and killed 67 citizens in addition to dozens injured condolences in advance for Iraqis by Joe Biden.
The White House said in a statement: "Vice President also stressed the urgent need to meet the Prime Minister and leaders of other major blocs and work together to resolve their differences."
For his part, President of Kurdistan region Masoud Barzani, the maintenance of security conditions and restore normality to the country is the responsibility of everyone, so the political blocs that cooperate to prevent the complexity of things.
Barzani stressed the need to abide by the constitution and genuine partnership, noting that he is not permitted to unilaterally take the crucial decisions, calling a national conference expanded at the present time necessarily.
The other hand, Tariq al-Hashimi, Vice President of the Republic of Iraq, told AFP his willingness to appear before the courts of Baghdad, but in the event of exposure to any risk or concern for his safety, he would leave the country.
