Cabinet directs contracting to purchase warships to protect ports

The Iraqi Cabinet said Tuesday move to buy warships to protect Iraqi ports, stressing that Iraq is moving to build an army capable of protecting internal security, fewer and stronger arm.
He said Prime Minister Maliki during Board meeting held today, to "protect Iraq need air force and air defenses and military radars and distribution capacity to protect borders, airspace and water", stating that "was directed by contracting to purchase warships to protect Iraqi ports.
