Barazani: Strategic reform plan to be announced

Erbil (NINA) – Head of Kurdistan region, Massoud Barazani announced his intention to prepare a comprehensive long-term plan called "Strategic Reforms" to counter corruption and make fundamental changes in all fields within a period of three months.
In a statement on Tuesday, June 14, Barazani announced, "'A high committee is been formed to execute the program to see that the program is implemented within three to four months."
He pointed out that the program is comprehensive, it contains a wide variety of issues, its implementation will be transparent with regards to concluding contracts and licences.
Barazani went on saying that he is working to announce a long-term comprehensive program to be called (Reform Strategy) aimed to combat corruption.
He stressed that to carry out such a large program the support of all political parties, whether loyal or in the opposition, and public sectors is very important, calling on civil society organization, college professors, research centers, the media and citizens to participate in enriching the program.
