Governor of Basra: refer to the implementation of 800 projects in the province in 2011

Said Abdul Samad told News} {Euphrates on Sunday that "the local government has been able to transfer eight hundred projects in the service sector, housing, health and other as well as the existence of other projects in the process of assignment."
He added that "despite the assignment of this number of projects for implementation but there are many projects have been stalled for years as a specialist heart hospital, which is turned off since 2008 due to lack of authentication and Ministries of Finance and Planning."
"As there are other projects idle because of the inefficiency of companies implementing these projects."
Abdel-Samad and that "the local government in the province is determined to set up strategic projects, but we need to direct support from the federal government."
