BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: President Jalal Talabani discussed today with a leading member of al-Iraqiya, Rafi' al-Issawi, the developments of the political issues and differences between the National Alliance and Iraqiya bloc, as well as the efforts made to solve them.
In a presidential statement, both sides confirmed during their meeting that the elements of the crisis should be dismantled and lay down an acceptable road map for all parties.
President Talabani stressed his efforts to get rid of all obstacles and encourage all components to follow dialogue to find a vent for the present crisis through continued discussions and dialogues, according to the statement.
On the other side, Issaw said that Talabini's initiative met the approval of all political entities, including Iraqiya bloc for solving problems and consolidating national unity.
