Talabani receives Issawi

Met with President Jalal Talabani and the Finance Minister and leader of the Iraqi List, Rafie al-Issawi, in the framework of meetings conducted by the President of the Republic to discuss the political crisis and the issue of the National Conference to be held last month. And the President agreed with al-Issawi on the selection of members of the Preparatory Committee of the National Conference early next week, while Talabani stressed the importance of overcoming obstacles to the success of the conference.
