Baghdad (AIN) –Governmental referendum conducted by the office of the Government Spokesman, Ali al-Dabbagh, shows that "95% among the citizens who participated in the referendum confirmed the negative reflections of the political disputes on the security situation in the country."
A statement by Dabbagh's office received by AIN cited "The referendum was made by the official website of the Iraqi Government," noting that "The referendum involved the following question (Do you think that the political disputes reflected on the security situation)."
"95% of the participants answered with (YES) while 5% of them answered the question with (NO)," the statement concluded without mentioning the number of the participants.
The political scene witnesses wide disputes among the political sides especially between the Iraqi Slate and the State of Law Coalition over implementing Erbil Agreement.
Recently, the tensions and the conflicts between the State of Law Coalition and the Iraqiya Slate reached the highest levels in coincidence with the US troop's withdrawal from Iraq.
The political crisis which increased after issuing an arrest warrant against the Vice-President, Tariq al-Hashimi for being involved in terrorism in addition to Maliki’s decision to dismiss his deputy Salih al-Mutleg.
Iraq witnessed security deterioration with huge security breaches by car bombs, bombs and assassination processes against governmental officials and recently against the pilgrims of Arbayiniya Pilgrimage. /End/
