Counting the spokesman of the Iraqi List Haider Mulla it Diwani issued by Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki not to proceed in an application prescribed by the House of Representatives to reduce the salaries of the three presidencies, "a coup against the constitution."
He said: "The lack of an application approved by the legislature in the reduction of salaries is a presidential coup against the Constitution and the lack of respect for the constitutional authorities, including the legislature, and this reflects the methodology al-Maliki in autocracy."
Al Mulla said: "The day-Maliki seeks to subjugate the judiciary and undermine the legislative authority and standing of the projects, contrario, the Parliament and this was reflected through the issuing of not implementing it reduce the salaries of the three presidencies."
The House of Representatives approved on 16 August 2011 a law to reduce the salaries of the three presidencies, ranging reduction rates between 80% and 40%, with reduction of the salaries of presidents, ministers, MPs from 50 million to 12 million, while the reduction of allocations the three presidents and their deputies by 80 %
