Maliki: Iraq is looking forward to better relations with Arab countries

Met with Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki in his official office, today Monday, 16/1/2012, ambassadors and heads of Arab diplomatic missions in Baghdad.
The Prime Minister said during the meeting: that Iraq receives new phase after the completion of the withdrawal of foreign troops is looking forward to better relations with Arab countries, saying: that Iraq policy is based on winning friends and relations of cooperation and mutual respect with all countries especially Arab countries, explaining the vision of Iraq of the ongoing developments in the region and the Arab world.
During the meeting the Prime Minister answered questions from the ambassadors about the various issues and internal and external developments.
For their part, called on Arab ambassadors to activate the role of Iraq on the Arab level, stressing that this will reflect positively on the Arab atmosphere in general.
