Iraq agrees to an oil contract worth $ 998 million

The Iraqi government said in a statement that the Council of Ministers approved the oil contract with a South Korean company worth $ 998 million.
The statement published on the site and government spokesman Ali al-Dabbagh that «the Council of Ministers agreed to refer the tender to develop the West Qurna field station CPU (CPF) and accessories custody of a South Korean companies at $ (998) million and the period of the Faculty not to exceed (31) months ». It did not give further details, but «Reuters» quoted an Iraqi official as saying that the contract with Samsung Engineering have a South Korean company only included in the shortcut menu final.
