Washington requests Nujaifi mediate the political crisis of Iraq
BAGHDAD / Baghdadiya News / .. Washington has asked the President of the Iraqi Council of Representatives leader of the Iraqi List, Osama Najafi mediation to resolve the current political crisis.
A statement issued by the Office of the President of Parliament received / Baghdadiya News / copy of it: that Nujaifi discussed with the U.S. ambassador to Iraq, James Jeffrey, during a meeting of the political situation in Iraq and developments in the political scene.
The statement said: that the meeting was to discuss developments in the National Convention "and the possibility of resolving the current crisis and the need to calm the situation through the media to refrain from statements that increase tensions between the political blocs."
