After asking for help from the Soviet Union and losing the element of surprise, Iraq finally declares war on Iran. Without a formal response from the Soviet Union, the Minister of Army and the Minister of Air Force agreed that Iraq should proceed with its attack by advancing rapidly, fast-paced and heavily instead of negotiating. Iraq has stated that with great organization and motivation the people and army from Iraq should stand strong and support its nation. After careful thought, Iraq decided to move its troops to Khuzestan, one of Iran’s provinces bordering the Persian Gulf, where they are receiving full support and their navy could be a mayor threat to Iran in a near future. The main purpose of the invasion is to fully stop the Islamic Revolution from spreading further the Middle East and protect Iraq. Countries like Syria and North Yemen have agreed to support Iraq, making these nations declared allies. For now, because of greater numbers, capacity and tactical techniques, Iraq has great chances of taking the lead in the invasion.
