Opening of the UAE Consulate in the region soon

revealed foreign relations official in the Kurdistan Regional Government for a planned visit by a diplomat from the United Arab Emirates capital of Erbil in order to take action and the necessary preparations for the opening of his country's consulate in the region. Falah Mustafa and announced "after the United Arab Emirates decided to opening its consulate in the Kurdish region, is scheduled to visit the United Arab Emirates diplomat Abdullah Al Alknaiji Kurdistan region soon to the necessary preparations for the opening of his country's consulate in the region.
Mustafa added that "the opening of the Consulate of the United Arab Emirates and the start of its representative functions work in the Kurdistan region is important and will be working to open up new prospects for the region to strengthen its relations with developed countries in the region." He expressed the readiness of the Department of Foreign Relations in the Government of the Territory to provide all facilities necessary for cooperation and coordination tasks in the success of UAE Consul in Kurdistan. The "Federal Council of Ministers had approved the recommendation of the Iraqi Foreign Ministry, to open the Consulate of the UAE in the provincial capital of Erbil by resolution No. 458 issued on 27.12.2011, based on the provisions of Article (26) of the Foreign Service Act No. (45) for the year 2008.. There are three Arab countries to have diplomatic representation in the Kurdistan region, the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Kingdom of Jordan and the Palestinian Authority.
