BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The Bahraini Foreign Ministry excluded its participation in the Arab Summit due in Baghdad at the end of the next month, charging Iraqi authorities to politically utilize the events that happened in its country one year ago, according to Russia Today TV.
Bahraini Foreign Minister Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa disclosed that in a statemet to the TV channel, questioning "how to attend in a country that sends evil day by day".
He did not accuse the Iraqi people, stressing the historical ties between the two peoples.
"Using the Bahraini question in the Iraqi parliament, that is not to our satisfaction", he added.
Bahrain, since 14 February 2011, suffered resentment campaigns "mostly Shiite" demanding the downfall of the government and political reforms, while the most orthodox are demanding to topple the regime there.
