Baghdad (AIN) -MP Aziz al-Mayahi of the White Bloc, assured that his bloc supports "the nomination of the Iraqi National Alliance for Towfiq al-Yasiri for the interior minister post."
In an announcement for al-Mayahi , All Iraq News Agency (AIN) received Monday, he said that” The White Bloc supports the nomination of al-Yasiri for the interior minister post because he is proffesional and independent person and qulified to assume this post."
He called for quick solution for the security ministries away from the political differences.
He also urged for dealing neutrally with these files for their importance and direct impact on the security situation post the US troops withdrawal from Iraq.
It is well to mention that the interior and defense ministries still are empty from ministers since the formation of the current government by the PM Nouri al-Maliki. /End/
